RRPS- DERBY MONTHLY COMPETITION RULES
Two competitions will be held, one for prints and one for digitally projected images. Trophies will be awarded for the winner and runner-up scoring the highest aggregate in each section
Each competition will be contested over 7, nominally monthly, rounds, Up to 3 images may be entered in each section in each round
Each entrants highest scoring 15 pictures in each section will count as the aggregate score, marks will be awarded out of 20 for each image on the night of the competition
An independent judge, from outside of the club will comment and award marks
Subject will be OPEN, colour, monochrome, or black and white
An image previously used in either section, or one significantly similar, may not be used again in a monthly competition unless scoring 12 or less.
Prints preferably should be mounted on card or board, maximum mount 50x40cm
Digital images to be jpegs and sized 1024 x 768 pixels.
Prints should be titled and named on the BACK of the mount, in the same attitude as they will be displayed, no names on the front please
Digital titles to be e.g. TIGER by Bob Smith or WINTER SCENE by Ann Jones
Digital images to be entered on USB type memory sticks, clearly identified as to which images are to be entered, i.e. in a folder as Comp.1 for example, or with only the images to be entered that evening on that stick
All entries must be in the hands of the Competition Secretary by 7.30p.m. on the night of the competition along with entry slips to the adjudicators/scorers.
Entry slips to be clearly written in blue or black (not red) pen

Note: 15 best digital & print images scores count at the end of the year.
